In the next future, the Club has planned to built to new modules (nr 8 and 9) which can be installed with modules 1-2-3-7. The total length will be of #9 yd. We have not planned to increase the number of modules, limited at the moment by the available volumee ot the trailer used to transport the layout. Le Club plans to build less voluminous new modules. It should be possible in that case to transport 7 to 9 modules.

The HOm Layout The HOm (Metric) layout has been designed and strongly built to be transported and shown in exhibitions. We wished to be reminiscent to the metric railways which ran across the country in the 50’s. The "Compagnie des Chemins de Fer du Limousin” (CFL) as well as the village of “Saint Libéral” and all the scenaries presented on the layout never existed. The village de "Saint Libéral" doesn’t exist in France, but it is one of the focus points in the novels written by the french author Claude Michelet. In the novels, the village is located in Corrèze. On the layout, it’s located in the Creuse, 50 miles NE from Limoges. The design and the making of the layout began in 1992 and is always in progress. The width of all the modules is #32 in. The lengh is #47 in. except the module viaduc which is #32 in long. The layout has been design to have a great modularity. It can be installed during exhibitions under 4 different configurations : a) 3 modules (Nr 1 , 4 , 7) Total length # 4 yd b) 4 modules (Nr 1 , 4 , 5 , 6) Total length # 4 yd 3ft c) 5 modules (Nr 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 7) Total length # 6 yd 2ft d) 6 modules (Nr 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5, 6) Total length # 7yd 1ft
